Trusting in God is more than just having faith; it's putting faith into action. When Moses was preparing the Israelites to cross the Red Sea, God told him, "Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on." I have learned in my personal life that if I want to see God's hand move in my life, I must do my part as well. So many times, we leave everything in God's hands, thinking He is going to do all the work for us. That is not the case. If you are looking for a job, jump online and see what jobs are available. Be specific with God, such as specifying the location, pay, benefits, etc. Whatever it may be, just remember that mountains will never move until we command them to move. This requires initiative and action. I believe God wants to part the Red Sea in your life, but before that happens, He is challenging you to extend your rod.
